Nectar of the Gods
For New Year's Eve with Dan, Sam and Lily (and Daisy and Sprout!), I am making classic cheese fondue. I figure there is no recipe that is more Pretty Faces-compliant than one that calls for two pounds of cheese and more than a cup of wine.

Merry Mittens
Project Codename: Mittmas
Yarn: Knitpicks Shine Worsted, Grass and Seaspray
Pattern: Standard Mitten from the Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns
Needles: Size 2 dpns
I wanted to have these done for Christmas, but, well, that didn't happen. However, I did get extensive practice knitting jogless stripes, so I still consider it a success.
After I finished the first one, Tyler wanted to wear it (outside) so it got a little dirty. Oops.
Yes, it occasionally gets cold enough for mittens in Florida. At the very least, Tyler uses them for Kleenex in a pinch.

Merry Christmas To Me
This blog is my Christmas present. Welcome.
Currently, I am in the middle of a second sock. I tried my hand at Whimsical Knitting's Number One Husband Socks, in Knit Pick's Essential in Terrain and Cocoa.
Here is sock #1:
